Greensboro, NC -- A man is recovering at a local hospital after suffering a gunshot wound during a robbery Tuesday afternoon.
Police responded to an apartment on Walker Avenue around 4 p.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.
EMS transported him to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say the shooting was the result of a robbery at his apartment. Police say, during the robbery, the victim struggled with the armed suspect. The suspect fired a shot, and it hit the victim in his leg.
Police later located the suspect and took him into custody.
There is currently no further information on the suspect or victim.
