HIGH POINT - 190 students from across the country have been in High Point since July 15th painting houses, re-shingling roofs and building handicap ramps for homes.
Students will be there until July 19th working to alleviate substandard housing.
They're part of the World Changers Initiative. Each student pays $250 to talk part in the week.
More than 16,000 students total make take part in the World Changers Initiative. It's the operation's 23rd summer working to improve housing. This year, students will work on housing projects in more than 60 different cities.
