Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Carl Crawford hit two home runs and Clayton
Kershaw pitched eight innings of shutout baseball, as the Los Angeles Dodgers
blanked the Milwaukee Brewers, 2-0, in the rubber match of a three-game
Kershaw (3-2) had 12 strikeouts and allowed just four hits for the Dodgers.
After giving up a leadoff double to Rickie Weeks in the second, he retired 18
batters in a row before Carlos Gomez doubled to start the eighth. Brandon
League pitched a flawless ninth to notch his eighth save of the season.
Kyle Lohse (1-2) got the start for the Brewers, who came into the game having
won 10 of their last 12 games. Outside the two home runs, he allowed just
three other hits over seven innings, but the lack of offense prevented him
from getting a win.
