Greensboro, NC -- Designers went back to the drawing board, tweaking GTCC's expansion near Oak Ridge. They want to trim the cost to keep the project within the $65 million budget.
Bids last year came in about $11 million over budget; this spring GTCC leaders will put the project out to bid again.
The Business Journal reports "design documents for the first phase, which includes a two-story, 97,500-square-foot building to house the N.C. Center for Global Logistics, should be submitted to the NC Department of Administration within the next month."
