Greensboro, NC -- NC A&T State University is still considering plans to launch a school of architecture.
In April 2010 The Business Journal reported University officials were exploring the possibility, prompted by a report from the Piedmont Triad Partnership. The report concluded the region could support and benefit from an undergraduate and graduate-level architecture school.
Sameer Hamoush, chair of the civil, architectural and environmental engineering department within the College of Engineering said NC A&T hasn't given up on the project, but there's been little progress made toward it.
University administrators declined to comment or provide any additional information.
