Greensboro, NC-- Selling yourself to a prospective employer may sound like bragging to you, but career expert Joyce Richman says you need to do it.
So how? She says it's normal to feel strange about talking good about yourself, so she says...let other people do it! Joyce says use the words that a former boss, vendor or associate said about you and your work.
If you don't remember, then go back and ask them to give you a description about what makes you a good employee. Write it down and use it on your next interview.
You can read more of Joyce Richman's advice in Sunday's edition of the News & Record.
