Police Seek Suspects For Armed Robbery, Kidnapping

Burlington, NC -- Police were called to Jefferson St. after gun shots were heard at 9:15 pm on Tuesday.

Officers said they found Everette Russell in the 400 block of Hamilton St. Russell told police that he was robbed and kidnapped from his home on Jefferson St.

Russell said he was at home with two people, when two men broke in with guns, demanding money. According to the report, everyone managed to escape, and as the gunmen left they fired several shots in the air.

All the victims were treated by Alamance County EMS for minor injuries and released.

The suspects left the area on foot in an unknown direction, with an undetermined amount of property/money.

Both suspects were described as a black men, around 6 feet tall, wearing a black hoodie. They each had a silver handgun.
