Stone Mountain, GA- A funeral for a murder victim turns into a deadly shooting Thursday afternoon.
DeKalb Police say after an argument outside the funeral of 19-year-old Ryan Guider, an unknown person opened fire. A gunfight broke out and two people were killed, two others were injured.
Witnesses say they saw Marcus Ventress, at the church, however police have not been able to confirm that he was there.
It happened at the Victory for the World Church on Hairston Road near Central Drive in Stone Mountain.
Friday, DeKalb County Public Safety director William Miller said 28-year-old Delmetrius Heard of Decatur and 19-year-old Carlos Henderson, Jr. of Ellenwood were attending the funeral.
Miller says Henderson was a friend of the murder victim, 19-year-old Ryan Guider. Henderson got into a fight with a group of people and went to his car to get a gun.
Henderson and Heard killed each other and shot two other people in the process, according to investigators.
Background: Marcus Ventress is accused of killing Guider several weeks ago after Guider was allegedly breaking into his home.
After the shooting police say a car drove away and was pulled over by police a short time later near Fellsridge Court between Central and Memorial drives and Hairston Road.
Police arrested three people and are in the process of determining whether Ventress was among those arrested.
