Burlington, NC -- Police are searching for suspects today after residents say someone shot at their house.

Two adults and an 8-year-old were in their home on E. Moorhead St. at the time, according to a police report. They were sleeping when they heard gunshots and glass breaking early Saturday.

When they got up to see what happened, the group found their front door had been shot. The residents were unable to give a description of the suspects or the vehicle they were driving.

Police were able to recover several 9mm shell casings from the scene.

No one was injured in the shooting.
