Winston-Salem, NC -- Police were called to Fifth Street early Tuesday morning for two different armed robberies.

Authorities said that the first call was at 12:37 am, the second was shortly after at 12:40 am, both in the area of Fifth Street and Trade Street.

Two men, one with a gun, approached a man on the street and demanded money. When they weren't able to get anything from him, they ran down the street a little ways and approached two more men.

Police said they stole money from those two men and then ran down Fifth Street. They were last seen getting into a light blue Pontiac Grand Am with no rims.

Victims described the robbers as 2 dark skinned black males. One of them is 5'11' and wore a black tee-shirt, black pants and short hair. The other robber is 5'7" and wore a white pullover type shirt with red jeans.

Police said nobody was injured.
