GREENSBORO, NC - Shortly after midnight, Greensboro Police responded to Motel 6 on 605 S. Regional Road reference a robbery from person.
When police arrived, witnesses told them that three victims were approached in the PVA by a white color, extended-cab pickup truck occupied by (4) black males. The truck pulled-up and blocked in the victims before robbing them at gunpoint of an undisclosed amount of cash and property. The suspect then left the area in the pickup truck.
Shortly thereafter-a call was received from the Holiday Inn Express on 645 S. Regional Road reference a Rashad Hughes having been robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash by the occupants of a white color, extended-cab pickup truck.
An alert was broadcast for the (4) suspects and the suspect vehicle. The driver of the truck was described as being a black-male with dreadlocks. The second suspect was described as a black-male in his mid 20's, short hair, wearing a dark shirt and tan shorts. The third and fourth suspects were only described as being black-males. The suspect vehicle and the (4) suspects were subsequently stopped and taken into custody by the High Point Police Department.
The suspects were identified as:
18-year-old Jackie Dontrel Watson, 21-year-old Christopher Neal Jarrett, 22-year-old Jerrick M. Duncan, and 23-year-old Demetrius Antwan Marshall-all from High Point. All four were charged with Robbery With A Dangerous Weapon and Possession Of Stolen Property.
Western Division Patrol, Southern Division Patrol, K9, and CSI responded to the scene. CID was notified.
