Lexington, NC-- A man is charged with not only exposing himself but also firing a gun and threatening someone.

on Tuesday, Deputies with the Davidson County Sheriff's Office received a call from the 911 Center that a man had pointed a rifle at someone. Emergency workers said the caller told them a man who was exposing himself pointed gun at him and fired a shot into the air.

Officers found Jimmy Rothrock had used a shotgun to threaten the victim and had indeed shot into the air while he was exposed.

Rothrock was placed under arrest and charged with Indecent Exposure, Assault by Pointing a Gun and Communicating Threats. He was given a secured bond of $5,000.00.
