Winston-Salem, NC -- Police said they've made four arrests in some armed robberies that happened near downtown almost two weeks ago.
Tuesday police released pictures of the suspects from surveillance video in a Walmart.
Wednesday, Detectives said they were able to identify and arrest two of the suspects and charge them.
Arrested so far: Ashley Monae Wilson and Alayah Brene Ingram. Both ladies are charged with Armed Robbery and Obtaining Property by False Pretense.
They are in the Forsyth County Detention Center under a$250,000 bond each.
Update 2: Thursday, July 26 Winston-Salem Police announced the arrest of a third person. Davonte Singletary was identified as the third suspect. Singletary is charged with two counts of Armed Robbery. Singletary's bond was set at $100,000. He is was placed in the Forsyth County Detention Center.
In addition the the three already charged, detectives said a 13 year old was arrested on a secure custody order and has been placed in a juvenile detention facility. Similar charges have been filed against the juvenile which will be handled in juvenile court.
At this point the Winston Salem Police Department is not seeking any additional suspects in this investigation.
Robberies Background: During the weekend of July 14, Police said the first robbery happened while two men were walking home on N. Spring St. The victims said a dark car pulled beside them and three black females got out, and one pointed a pistol at them.
They demanded money, the men gave it to them, and the women left in the car.
In the second robbery, a man was sitting at the bus stop in front of Crystal Towers on W. Sixth St. when a black female jumped out of a dark car, pointed a pistol at him and demanded money.
The man threw his money on the ground, the woman picked it up, and then she got back in the car and left the scene.
There were no injuries reported in either case.
