Chantilly, VA-- Loudoun County authorities are looking for two people who robbed a grocery store in Chantilly early Tuesday morning.
Investigators with the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said at approximately 2:20 a.m. Tuesday, two males entered the Harris Teeter grocery store in the 42000 block of the Village Center Plaza in Chantilly.
The suspects had their faces covered, and one of the men had a gun, according to deputies.
During the robbery, one of the males pushed a Harris Teeter employee to the ground. Then, they got into two cash registers and fled the store with cash.
Tuesday, an Officer working on similar Harris Teeter Robberies in Greensboro confirmed to WFMY News 2 that they have been in touch with Virginia investigtors. He said they believe the robberies are related.
Just last week, Harris Teeter increased the reward for the unsolved robberies of their North Carolina stores.
