Asheboro, NC-- Deputies have charged in man in Randolph County with making threats via facebook.
Investigators with the Randolph County Sheriff's Office said they received a report from a concerned citizen that a friend on Facebook had made some threatening statements.
During their investigation, Detectives said they discovered that Roger Chad Parrish had made several Facebook posts that included the use of a weapon and made reference to school shootings.
Warrants were obtained against Parrish and he was immediately arrested for Communicating Threats and False Report of Violence on Educational Property.
Parrish was taken to the Randolph County Jail. He is currently under a $100,000 secured bond. The investigation is ongoing.
