EcoSphere is the idea of Jonathan Brinsfield; who left a job in the mortgage industry after seeing a news program on the subject of composting.
Daily he visits local restaurants and grocery stores to pick up peelings, scrapes of un-used food, and expired vegetables and fruits.
The company hopes to make its debut in March 2012. Brinsfield will sell the organic soil at The Piedmont Farmers Market and hopes to make it available via local garden and hardware stores.
