GREENSBORO - Usually, Sandra Hughes presents one person who makes an impact on other's lives. This month, she's recognizing thousands.
Women from around the state gathered for the Women's Only 5K Walk-Run for breast cancer awareness.
The ladies helped raise more than $118,000 for scholarships to help women get mammograms.
In the beginning, a few hundred women participated in the race. This year, 3,500 joined in for the cause.
