Greensboro, NC - Since 1974 Intertech has been molding bottles that hold a variety of products. From automotive products, household cleaning chemicals and commercial cleaners.
In the 60's and 70's, Jack Worsham was operating a small chemical company and at the time they had a need for bottles. "We were trying to buy bottles from a local company that wanted to sell us only truckloads of bottles, which would last us for years", says Worsham.
So instead they bought their own molding machine, and soon they were producing more bottles than they needed. "So we started selling them locally under the name Intertech."
Now they ship bottles all over the southeast. In addition to the bottles they also produce the 'funball' the kind kids everywhere are jumping around in.
The introduction of the 'funball' lead to another invention the HyGenie, a sophisticated ball washer that uses anti-bacterial detergent, scrubbing brushes, and ultraviolet light.
