Greensboro, NC -- We haven't seen snow yet this winter, but tonight there will be snow making magic in Greensboro at WFMY News2's Piedmont Winterfest.
The best part is it won't cost you a dime.
A Raleigh company will pump three tons of snow, four to six inches deep onto the hillside near the skating rink for sledding.
The snow making will begin at 5pm and the sledding will start at 6.
The event will end when the snow melts. You will have to bring your own
sled to take part.
Event organizer Elijah Lovejoy said the snow making is a preview for an ice slide feature that will be added next year.
