Greensboro-NC -- Kids and supporters of swimming took part in an attempt at a world record.
The trainers also used it as an opportunity to raise awareness of children drowning.
Maria Gonzalez told WFMY News 2 that this is a community problem that should be solved with community outreach.
And, that is what they wanted to use this record attempt to do.
About 100 children and supporters participated in the event. It was held at the Oak Club.
