(Davidson County, NC) -- Operation Fan Heat Relief program is under way at the Davidson County Department of Senior Services' senior centers. The intent of the program is to provide a more comfortable living environment and reduce heat related illnesses.
Applicant Eligibility Criteria:
• Must reside in Davidson County;
• Must be an adult 60 years of age or older or with a disability;
• Must have a home situation where a threat to health and wellbeing exists;
If you feel you or someone you know meets these requirements and needs a fan, visit the Lexington Senior Center located at 555-B West Center Street Ext. or the Thomasville Senior Center located at 211 W. Colonial Drive, Monday - Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
