High Point, NC -- An organization that thrives on helping people needs your help.
The Salvation Army in High Point reports that its stores are at an all-time low. A spokesperson said that the summer months are when most people forget to donate.
Ron Rice, manager of the South Main store said, "If people do not donate to our thrift stores, we are not able to provide adequate funding for the programs of The Salvation Army that serve our community in need. If you have anything to donate, now is the time."
There are two Salvation Army stores in High Point.
South High Point: 1501 S. Main Street (near the intersection of South Main and Market Center)
North High Point: 2531 Eastchester Drive (near the intersection of Eastchester and Skeet Club)
