Lexington, NC -- Ten couples laced up their dancing shoes to participate in the second annual "Dancing With the Potential Stars", Sunday.
It is a fundraiser for Project Potential, a non-profit group that helps high school students realize their high school dreams.
An online campaign has raised $25,000 so far. Eight-Hundred people filled the Smith Center for the event.
Kelli Groce, Minister at the First Methodist Church in town and her partner Lee Zeemer a minister at the First Presbyterian Church took honors as the People's Choice.
