Greensboro, NC -- You've probably heard of a firefighter rescuing a cat stuck in a tree, but rescuing a flag?
MSG Scott Fortune was heading to work Thursday morning, when he noticed an American flag stuck about 30 feet high in a tree, right across from Moses Cone Hospital.
Fortune called the Greensboro Fire Department, and within a few minutes a truck showed up to help remove the flag.
Fortune said, "I have served our great nation for 24 years, and it hurts my heart to see "Ole Glory" in such a bad spot."
