CHARLOTTE -- She was all smiles as she prepared to sing her heart out to kick off her favorite sport Saturday, and with her voice, Kolby Garrison was ready to make the Triad proud.
We met Kolby yesterday on WFMY News 2 at 6. She told us all about her love of singing, and of course, NASCAR.
Kolby, who is blind, won the chance to sing before Saturday's HISTORY 300 race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. More than 4,000 people voted for her in the Speedway Superstar competition, hosted by CMS.

She kicked of the race with a beautiful rendition of our National Anthem for people in the stands and all over the country to hear.
But, her exciting day didn't stop there. She got to walk the track and meet some of her favorite NASCAR radio announcers at the race.
