Undated -- There's no way around it, you have to charge your phone. Chargers and charging accessories can be expensive, so a lot of people buy what ever is cheapest.
But iPhone users are finding sometimes those cheaper chargers, made by a third party, can shock them. In response, Apple is starting a USB Power Adapter Take-back program.
Starting August 16th, if you have concerns about your charger you can turn it in and get a new Apple adapter at a discounted price!
Just take the third party adapter to any Apple store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. They'll dispose of the old one for you and you can buy a new USB power adapter for just $10. They're regularly $19. The special adapter price is limited to one adapter for each iPhone, iPad, and iPod you own. You will have to bring your device with you so they can validate the serial number. The take back program is only valid through October 18th.
