High Point, N.C. -- Children in High Point now have a place to go to get free help with their writing skills. High Point University opened a new Community Writing Center on Monday for kids. Students at the University will help tutor children in the area.
The center located at 1307 Guyer Street in High Point is open after school, Monday through Thursday. Students can get homework help plus get involved in group programs using both creative and reading activities.
The center will also benefit parents who can get resume help, plus learn how to talk with their children about books and digital literacy.
The center is free and open to the public however enrollment is limited.
