Because of the diligence, generosity, and caring of Hayworth Christian School students, $2000 was collected by students for Haiti Relief

High Point, NC-- Students who attend Hayworth Crhistian School have become fundraising heroes for Haiti. In the aftermath of the Haiti earthquake, Hayworth Christian School students wanted to get involved.

Several students sprung into action connecting with World Hope International and worked through the logistics of a fundraiser. The Student Council and Beta Club took to the street and began collecting money using handmade posters and buckets. A school spokesperson said, it was an incredible experience for them to see the generosity of local residents. As the amount grew to over $800, so did the excitement to participate in the other classes. During chapel, the students took up a special offering and Ms. Karam's 4th grade class donated their jog-a-thon reward to the fund as well.

Because of the diligence, generosity, and caring of Hayworth Christian School students, the total amount collected exceeded $2000! "It is so encouraging to see the students working so intently to help others in need applying to become "World Changers"" said Hayworth Christian School Administrator, Ed Kingdon.
