French Onion Soup Recipe
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup thinly sliced white onions
1 cup thinly sliced red onions
2 tablespoons spice delight all purpose essence
1 teaspoon whole dried thyme
3 whole bay leaves
1 pint chicken stock
1 pint beef stock
1- In a large stock pot over medium heat add the first five ingredients.
2-Saute onions for about 12 minutes until caramelized, and stir occasionally.
3-Add the remainder of the ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes.
4-Serve with toast points.
Spice Delight Toast Points Recipe
½ loaf French or Italian bread
1 tablespoon soft unsalted butter
1 tablespoon spice delight all purpose essence
1 tablespoon freshly grated parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon whole dried thyme
1- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2- Spread soft butter evenly onto bread.
3-Sprinkle spices and parmesan cheese evenly on bread.
4-Place bread on cookie sheet pan and bake for a few minutes, until cheese is golden brown.
5- Cut bread into two inch strips, then cut them diagonally.
6- Now serve toast points.
