Wilted Romaine with Grilled Chicken Recipe
Serves 2-4
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium head romaine diced medium
1 tablespoon Spice Delight All-Purpose Essence
½ teaspoon whole dried basil
3 tablespoons garlic expressions (classic vinaigrette)
½ cup grape tomatoes sliced in halves
2 tablespoons fresh grated parmesan cheese
Method
1-Heat oil in a large stock pot for a few minutes, over medium high heat.
2-Add the next 4 ingredients, and sauté for 3 minutes.
3-Fold in tomatoes and cheese, and turn off heat.
4-Serve warm.
Grilled Chicken Recipe
Serves 4-6
Ingredients
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 flat 6 oz chicken breast (boneless and skinless)
2 tablespoons Spice Delight All-Purpose Essence
½ teaspoon whole dried basil
Method
1-In a large bowl, place all ingredients listed above.
2-Mix well so that oil and spices are evenly coated over chicken.
3-Let marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
4-Preheat grill pan over medium high heat for 4 minutes.
5-Grill chicken 3 minutes per side.
6-Let chicken rest for 3 minutes covered with foil, before cutting.
Bread Croutons Recipe
Serves 4
Ingredients
2 cups medium diced bread cubes
1/3 cup olive oil
½ teaspoon whole dried basil
1 tablespoon Spice Delight All-Purpose essence
2 tablespoons fresh grated parmesan cheese
Method
1-Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2-In a large bowl, add diced cubes and remaining ingredients listed above.
3-Mix well so that oil and spices are evenly coated on bread.
4-Spread out on a non stick cookie sheet, and bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
5-serve warm.
