After School Trail Mix Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cups whole grain cereal "O's"
1 cup of mixed nuts
½ cup of raisins or other dried fruit
½ cup of chocolate chips, optional

Directions:
Mix together and enjoy! Portion out individual ¼ cup servings in zip-top snack bags for a Grab-n-Go treat. Feel free to use whatever's in your cupboard. Chex cereal, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, even M&Ms!

Yogurt Parfait Recipe

Ingredients:
6 oz. vanilla or plain yogurt
¼ - ½ cup berries or sliced peaches
Crunchy cereal flakes
Nuts or seeds

Directions:
Layer fruit, yogurt, and cereal in a glass. Sprinkle nuts on top and enjoy!

Dr. Oz's 61 Calorie Popcorn Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup popcorn kernels
Flavored cooking spray (butter, olive oil, garlic)
Garlic salt or cinnamon

Directions:
Place the popcorn in a two-and-a-half quart microwave safe bowl, microwave for four to five minutes (don't burn it!) Pour it on to a baking sheet, coat with spray, and follow with the garlic salt or cinnamon. Calories 61, fat 8g. Make sure you use about 1-2 seconds of spray at most. Try using olive oil spray for the garlic variety, and butter spray if you're using cinnamon.

Strawberry Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup skim milk
½ cup strawberries or other fruit
1 frozen banana
1 teaspoon of vanilla

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
