Greensboro, NC -- As we debut our new News 2 kitchen, we are enjoying having different guests on the Good Morning Show to share some of their favorite recipes with us.
Wednesday, News 2's Tanya Rivera stopped by to make her chicken sausage & spinach spaghetti.
Here's the recipe:
- 1 pack of chicken sausage (Tanya's favorite usually has red and green peppers in it)
- 1 box frozen creamed spinach
- Cooking wine
- 2 laughing cow wedges (swiss is fine, or garlic & herb)
- Garlic to taste
Brown chicken sausage, grind in food processor, rinse off fat,
put back in pan on medium heat, add in thawed creamed spinach. Then add in white wine, laughing cow wedges, and garlic to taste.
This should make a creamy, meaty sauce. You can put it over spaghetti, stuff it into mushroom caps, or bake it with parmesan cheese on top and use as a hearty dip.
