Shrimp & Grits Recipe
Ingredients:
2 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
6 each 16-20 ct Shrimp (peeled)
1/2 tsp. Garlic
1/4 cup Tomatoes
2 tbsp. Scallions
1 1/2 oz. White Wine
1/4 tsp. Cajun Spice
1/8 tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. Cracked Black Pepper
12 oz. Grits
Ladle or 6 oz. Ladle Shrimp Sauce
Directions:
Heat oil in a sauté pan, add garlic and cook just until the garlic turns light brown. Add shrimp, tomatoes and scallions and toss while cooking.
Deglaze with white wine, add seasonings while tossing to combine. Pour one 6 oz ladle of shrimp sauce into the sauté pan and allow it to come to a simmer.
Ladle grits into large pasta bowl, arrange shrimp around bowl and pour sauce over shrimp.
