Dry Rub Recipe
2 tablespoons of chili powder
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons oregano
4 tablespoons paprika
3 tablespoons cumin
2 tablespoons white pepper
Rib Sauce
1 quart of white vinegar
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1.5 cups of dark corn syrup
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup texas pete
1.75 cups water
1 teaspoon of water
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
2 tablespoons kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cups tomato paste
1/4 cups worcestershire sauce
3 star anise
Procedure
In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients with a whisk, except for the worcestershire and tomato sauce.
Bring first ingredients to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Add remaining items, combine with a whisk and simmer on low for one hour.
Rib Recipe
1 and 1/4 cups of Liquid margarine
2 cups of Texas Pete
1 tablespoon of chipotle paste
2 teaspoons of garlic
1 and 1/2 oz of tangy bbq sauce
Procedure
With a whisk, combine all ingredients in a medium size bowl.
