Use Your Computer To "Control The Show"

Winston-Salem, NC -- One local student has found a new use for the internet. He controls his Christmas lights by computer and now you can take part.

B.J. Sintay set up www.controltheshow.com which allows people to turn on and off his 30,000-light Christmas display. Sintay says the site took 18 months to set. He hopes people who enjoy the experience will sponsor a light by making a contribution to Ronald McDonald House through his site. Sintay says the lights can be controlled from 5:30 pm to midnight each night and people get one minute to play.

"I like doing crazy engineering projects and my wife really gets into Christmas, so I thought it would be a great idea to do this, and something she would support and be proud of so I decided to do it with Christmas lights."

So far Sintay says his neighbors haven't complained.

To visit Sintay's site go to www.controltheshow.com.
