80 Year Old Woman Drives Wrong-Way On 40/85 For 14 Miles

Alamance County, NC -- An elderly woman drove the wrong way down the interstate... from Orange County to Alamance County.

She faced hundreds of cars and trucks along the way on Tuesday afternoon, making it 14 miles, from Hillsborough to Haw River, without causing a scratch.

The guidelines to renew a driver's license are the same for all ages. Drivers have to pass two tests. One tests knowledge of 12 traffic signs by color, shape and meaning. Drivers must get nine out of 12 correct. There's also a vision test, requirements vary depending on if the driver wears glasses or contacts.
