A warm and moist southerly flow will keep the Triad in 80s with the chance of afternoon showers and storms through the next couple of days. On Thursday a cold front will swing through the Triad bringing an increased chance of showers and storms through Thursday evening.
After the cold front moves through early Friday morning, cooler and less humid air will begin to move into the area. Temperatures Friday afternoon will be almost ten degrees cooler then Thursday afternoon with highs in the middle 70s.
The great weather will stretch through the weekend with high temperatures on Saturday and Sunday in the middle 70s under a mostly sunny sky.
