Juvenile Sexually Assaulted, Suspect Being Questioned

Around 8:00am Sunday, Greensboro Police responded to a sexual assault call. The victim is a juvenile. When officers arrived at the scene, both the victim and suspect were still there. Officers brought all parties in for questioning. The investigation is ongoing.

Man Stabbed During Party At Greensboro Apartment Complex

Police are investigating after someone stabbed a man at a party.

It happened Sunday morning an apartment complex on West Market St. in Greensboro.

Officers tried to question the victim at Moses Cone Hospital but he would not cooperate or name possible suspects.

Juvenile Arrested For Car Jacking

Just before 3:00am Sunday police responded to S. Booker Street on a car jacking call. The victim told officers someone approached him and demanded his car keys. When the victim handed over his keys, the suspect drove away in his vehicle, according to police.

As officers were arriving at the scene, one officer saw a vehicle driving with no headlights and pulled it over. During the traffic stop he determined it matched the description of the recently stolen vehicle. The suspect, a juvenile, was arrested.

Teens Sought In Burglary

Police say a homeowner woke up Saturday night to find two teens in their house. It happened around 11:30 pm on Carline Drive in Greensboro. The victim described the teens as black males, short hair, medium build and dark complexion.

Patrol officers responded with a K9, but were unable to detect a scent because of heavy foot traffic.

Greensboro Police
