Greensboro, NC -- Police arrested the man responsible for stabbing a man at a local grocery store on E. Market Street in Greensboro, Saturday night.
At approximately 5:22pm, police responded to M&M Grocery regarding a stabbing.
Once on-scene, officers located the victim, Michael McDaniel, who was suffering from lacerations caused by a sharp instrument.
McDaniel was transported to Moses Cone Hospital for treatment of what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect, Antonio Lewis, was arrested at the scene.
After investigation, it was found that the stabbing was a result of an altercation between two people inside 1500 E. Market Street, which police communications said is M&M Grocery store.
Lewis was charged with attempted murder, and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
Lewis is held under a $200,000 bond.
