Two Charged In Death Of Greensboro College Security Guard

Greensboro, NC -- Greensboro police have charged two men in the death of Christopher Mason on Christmas Eve.

Frederick Lamar Dee, 28, of Gastonia and Lemiah Wyatt Sanders, 18, of Greensboro have each been charged with First Degree Murder.

Mason was found dead with a gunshot wound at his home on Charles Street just after midnight on December 24.  Mason worked as a security guard at Greensboro College.

Greensboro Police Detectives travelled to Gastonia last week where Dee was being held on an unrelated charge. He was transfered to the Guilford County Jail and is being held without bond.

Sanders was already being held in the Guilford County jail on unrelated drug charges.  He is being held with no bond.

Dee and Sanders are also charged with First Degree Breaking and Entering.

Greensboro Police
