Asheboro, NC -- Detectives with the Randolph County Sheriff's Department and the Asheboro Police Department are looking for a third person after making a drug arrest Friday.
Officers searched a home at 331 Brookside Drive in Asheboro and found 55 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and cash. Authorities charged three people as a result of the discovery:
Angelo Rico Bates has been charged with possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, and possess of drug paraphernalia.
James Allen Laughlin has been charged with possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, and possess of drug paraphernalia.
Police are still looking for Michael Leon Benton. He's charged with possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, maintaining a dwelling to keep and sell a controlled substance, and possess of drug paraphernalia.
