High Point, NC -- Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed a teenage girl around 3:49am on Saturday.
Officers said Christina Elizabeth Brelsford, 19, of High Point, died after she lost control of the car she was driving, on South Elm Steet.
Brelsford car collided with a utility pole then came to a rest against a nearby building, according to investigators. Brelsford died sometime after being taken to High Point Regional Hospital.
Police are still being investigating exactly what happened to cause the collision.
