Chapel Hill, NC -- Police in Chapel Hill say a woman has reported being sexually attacked near the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill campus.
Our news partners at WRAL-TV report that a 27-year-old woman told police she was attacked Thursday behind Ackland Art Museum after leaving a restaurant on Franklin Street. The woman told police two men approached her and dragged her behind a trash bin.
Chapel Hill Police Lt. Kevin Gunter says details about the alleged attack were not clear.
Campus spokesman Randy Young says campus police were aware of the report but did not issue an alert because of limited information available.
