Summerfield, NC - A normal Tuesday night for many might include taking the kids to soccer practice or watching a favorite TV show, but for a group of cowboys and cowgirls in Summerfield, Tuesday night is church night.

Piedmont Cowboy Church was founded five years ago as a place to welcome cowboys and cowgirls who are busy on the weekends tending to their horses or going to rodeos and trail rides and unable to regularly attend church on Sundays.

The Pastor of Piedmont Cowboy Church, Bill Young, told News 2, "People come here because of their love of horses or the farm or country living, and they are made to feel at ease."

Church is held at Still Water Farm, a full service horse farm owned by Craig and Susan Smith. The Smith's wanted to provide a place to hold a non-traditional church service that welcomes all, and their farm provided the perfect fit for the Piedmont Cowboy Church.

The church is not just for cowboys or cowgirls, they welcome all, holding service every Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
