Police: Two Pizza Delivery Drivers Robbed In Greensboro

Greensboro, NC-- Police in Greensboro are investigating two separate cases of pizza delivery drivers being robbed on Tuesday night.

Police received the first call around 10:36pm on S. Holden Road after a driver for Papa John's called for assistance.

The driver told police he had just completed a delivery to Days Inn in the 3300 block of Isler St and was robbed at gunpoint. The victim said he was walking back to his car when a man pointed a gun at him and took his money and other property. The driver was not injured.

The second call came in about 11 minutes later (10:47pm), of a robbery of a person in the 4400 block of High Point Road. When officers arrived, a driver for Dominos Pizza told them he was robbed while walking to his car on Merritt Drive. The driver said he had just completed a delivery in the 1900 block of Merritt Drive.

The victim said the suspect pointed a gun at him and demanded money and property. The victim told police that the suspect getting in a Gray colored SUV that was parked nearby.
