(GREENSBORO, NC) -- This morning, shortly after 1, Eastern Patrol Officers responded to Express Mart Shell, located at 1102 Summit Avenue in reference to a robbery alarm.
Employees stated that as they were taking inventory two men entered the store. One had a wooden stick and came behind the counter to demand money. An altercation took place and the suspects then fled the store without obtaining any property.
The suspects were located and arrested a short distance away.
Osmel Ventura was charged with attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy and assault with a deadly weapon.
Karim Crooks was charged with attempted robbery with dangerous weapon and conspiracy.
