Two Arrested for Prior Shooting Incident In Burlington

(Burlington, NC)  --  Burlington police officers arrested two individuals for an incident that happened earlier this week.  Tuesday, a warrant was issued for 27-year-old Curtis Irwin-Pillsbury from Elon and 16-year-old Mebane resident Christopher Hernandez, for firing multiple shots towards a home on Albany St. in Burlington.

During the arrest an AK-47 assault rifle was recovered.

Irwin-Pillsbury was charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharging a firearm from within an enclosure and possession of a firearm by felon.

Hernandez was charged with Shooting into an occupied dwelling, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharging a firearm from within an enclosure.

Both were placed in the Alamance County Jail under a $100,000.00 secured bond.
