Sheniqua Peebles, Rowan Co Sheriff's Ofc
Rowan County, NC-- Saturday afternoon the Rowan County Sheriff's Office issued missing child alert for 15 year-old Sheniqua Victoria Nicole Peebles.
Deputies investigating the case said Sheniqua was last seen on April 9, 2012 on NC Highway 801 in Woodleaf. Someone told the sheriff's department they saw the teenager getting into a blue Lincoln Town Car at the end of her driveway.
According to her mother,, Sheniqua was periodically sending her text messages, but the mom said she hasn't received one since April 21.
Deputies said they believe the teenager may be in the Winston-Salem area now, or was in the area after she went missing.
Sheniqua is described as 5'4", 120lbs and has brown eyes and black hair.
