Winston-Salem, NC-- Police said a man walking on the sidewalk became a shooting victim during a couple's argument.
The shooting happened Saturday afternoon on N. Cleveland Avenue in Winston-Salem. When police arrived they found 28 year-old Ronald Ingram with a gunshot injury in his leg.
Officers determined that Anthony Lewis and his girlfriend were arguing nearby and for some reason Lewis started shooting his gun.
It was during that time police said one of the bullet projectiles struck Ingram, who was walking along the sidewalk in the area.
Ingram was taken to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center for treatment.
Police were able to find the gun and Lewis was charged with: Assault With a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury and Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon.
