(Greensboro, NC) -- At 10:47 last night. Greensboro police responded a robbery call at the 4200 block of Bernau Avenue.
Victim Bernard Joseph, black male, 28-years-old, of Greensboro stated that while he was walking, he was approached from behind by the suspect. The suspect brandished a silver handgun and demanded property and money from Mr. Joseph and left the area in a vehicle driven by a second subject.
Mr. Joseph did not receive any injuries as a result of this incident.
The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5'10", average build, close shaved hair, last seen wearing dark jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt.
Officers canvassed the area for the suspects. Southern Division Patrol responded to the scene and CID was notified.
At this time it is an ongoing investigation.
